1. The skimmer is designed to supplement a pond filter by removing leaves and other surface debris. The skimmer also houses the pump and, by pre-filtering water entering the pump, protects against pump clog-ups and loss of water flow.

2. The pump draws water across the weir and through the skimmer basket, trapping leaves and other debris. Water is then pumped to the TM filterfalls.

3. Water flows across the weir drawing leaves and other pond debris into the skimmer basket. Atlantic's unique weir design improves water flow and prevents fish from entering the skimmer enclosure. The weir may be locked in closed position for cleaning and maintenance.

4. Rigid skimmer basket is easy to use-just empty and rinse with a hose.

5. The check valve prevents the bio-filter from draining when the pump is turned off.

6. Flex PVC pipe carries water from the pump to the FilterfallsTM. Bury it along side the pond.

8. The up-flow FilterfallsTM cleans and aerates the water. A pre-filter mat removes small solid particles. Lava rock or other biological media removes dissolved waste products. A waterfall provides aeration.

9. Bulkhead fitting seals the connection from flex PVC pipe to the FllterfallsTM.

10. Filter grate supports pre-filter mat and biological media bag.

11. Biological media purifies the pond water with beneficial bacteria.
